Introspective Tuesday (IT): Why do I stop and start an exercise program?

Many people start exercise programs with enthusiasm, but it's not uncommon for them to lose motivation after a few weeks or months. One of the main reasons for this is that visible results may not come as quickly as expected, or setbacks and obstacles can make progress seem unattainable. However, it's important to remember that fitness is a journey, not a destination, and significant progress takes time and effort.
Rather than giving up, it's crucial to stay committed to your program. Setting realistic goals, finding an exercise partner or group, and tracking your progress can help maintain your motivation and sense of direction. Remember, getting fit means improving your physical health and mental well-being, and this takes time, consistency, and patience. Stay focused on the benefits of regular exercise, and don't let temporary setbacks hinder your long-term success.
